Azerbaijan Tourism Board organised a familiarisation trip to the Zagatala–Gakh–Shaki region on 29–30 July, bringing together 50 representatives of the local tourism industry.
The trip aimed to showcase the destination’s tourism potential, cultural and historical heritage, natural attractions and diverse tourism offerings to local tourism industry representatives.
Developed around an experience-based concept, the programme provided participants with an opportunity to explore local tourism facilities, experience the destination’s hospitality traditions and discover a range of tourism experiences.
The familiarisation trip provided participants with an opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the region’s tourism offerings and explore opportunities for future cooperation, with further familiarisation trips for local tourism industry representatives to be organised across Azerbaijan.
