As the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), taking place from April 28th to May 1st, 2025, marks over three decades as one of the travel industry’s premier gatherings, Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) returns with a compelling presentation of the country’s evolving tourism landscape. With an emphasis on culture, connectivity, and immersive visitor experiences, ATB is joined by 41 co-exhibitors, including Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and Shahdag Mountain Resort, to engage with key markets across the Gulf region.

At the 9th General Assembly of the Hotelstars Union (HSU), held in Oslo on 28 April 2025, Azerbaijan was unanimously confirmed as a full member. This membership places us alongside Europe's top destinations for hotel quality, and this is only the beginning of our continued drive to elevate hospitality standards across the country.

From April 23 to 25, held in Almaty, Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) participates in the Kazakhstan International Tourism Fair (KITF 2025), a key event for the Central Asian tourism sector.

Azerbaijan is represented by the State Tourism Agency (STA) and Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) at the ongoing Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Annual Summit 2025, taking place in Istanbul, Türkiye from April 21–23. The country is represented by Florian Sengstschmid, CEO of Azerbaijan Tourism Board, and Gunay Bayramova, Deputy director of the TPS department, Acting Director at the State Tourism Agency.

Azerbaijan Tourism Board organized a series of business-to-business meetings across three regions of Russia from April 9 to 11, 2025 aiming to deepen partnerships and promote Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism offerings.

A strategic meeting has been held in Gakh on April 11 to initiate the district’s Tourism Development Plan. The initiative, discussed during the meeting, was led by the State Tourism Agency and Azerbaijan Tourism Board, with the support of the Executive Power of the Gakh District.
