The Representative Office of Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) in Türkiye, together with 10 tourism industry partners including Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) promoted Azerbaijan as a year-round travel destination through a roadshow in Türkiye from 13-17 April.
The roadshows took place in Izmir, Ankara, Mersin and Istanbul, bringing together around 500 representatives from Turkish travel trade and media.
The events highlighted Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism offerings, including city breaks, shopping tourism, cultural heritage, adventure activities, along with business and events tourism (MICE). Special attention was given to the experiences in the northern and north-western touristic routes of Azerbaijan, showcasing their well-developed tourism infrastructure and facilities, as well as potential for winter tourism and leisure.
Each event, held in cities, featured engaging destination presentations alongside targeted B2B workshops, providing participants with valuable opportunities to explore and strengthen potential partnerships.
The event in Ankara was honored by the distinguished visit of representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Türkiye.
Through such initiatives, The Representative Office of Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) in Türkiye continues to strengthen its presence in the Turkish market while promoting Azerbaijan as an attractive travel destination for Turkish travellers.
During January-March 2026, the number of visitors traveling from Türkiye to Azerbaijan increased by 13.5% compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 105,265 visitors.
