Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) participated at the “AVIAREPS Around the World Roadshow - Germany Spring” held across Würzburg, Frankfurt and Trier from 20-22 April.
The “AVIAREPS Around the World Roadshow - Germany Spring” is a well-established B2B networking platform in the German tourism market, bringing together leading outbound tour operators and travel agencies.
The events in three cities brought together more than 100 tour operators and travel agencies, serving as an effective platform for establishing new partnerships and presenting Azerbaijan’s tourism potential to the German travel trade representatives.
Through its participation at the roadshow, ATB showcased Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism offerings, highlighting city break and rich cultural experiences, Silk Road heritage, scenic hiking routes, and winter getaways at mountain resorts.
Travel to Azerbaijan has also been made increasingly accessible for German travelers, with direct flights from Berlin and Frankfurt to Baku by Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and Lufthansa. Alongside this connectivity, Azerbaijan offers a well-established and efficient visa process. German citizens could apply for an e-VISA through evisa.gov.az 3 working days before their planned arrival date, or opted for an urgent visa, which was processed within 3 hours. The visa is valid for 90 days, during which German travelers could visit Azerbaijan for up to 30 days at a time.
Combined with these accessible travel conditions and a diverse range of offerings, this positive trend is reflected in growing demand. During January-March 2026, the number of visitors traveling from Germany to Azerbaijan increased by 76.5% compared to the same period in 2025, reaching 5 024 visitors.
