Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) successfully showcased the country’s diverse tourism offerings during its CIS Roadshow, held from August 18th to 25th, 2025. The series of high-profile events took place in Tashkent, Astana, Almaty, and Minsk.
The purpose of the meetings was to promote Azerbaijan’s tourism products and strengthen cooperation with the tourism sectors of CIS countries. The events brought together 50 leading travel agencies from Uzbekistan, 70 from Kazakhstan, and 70 from Belarus, along with 10 companies from Azerbaijan, including hotels, travel agencies, the national carrier AZAL, media representatives, and influencers
At each event, guests were introduced to the full spectrum of Azerbaijan’s tourism offerings: from beach holidays along the Caspian coast to ski resorts, wellness and balneological centers, rich gastronomic and cultural routes, and modern infrastructure. Special focus was placed on the all-season Shahdag Mountain Resort, health and wellness resorts, as well as cultural and sporting events such as the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025.
Following the presentations, B2B workshops were held at each city, allowing participants from both countries to conduct business meetings and discuss joint projects. The events were further enriched by cultural programs, where guests enjoyed live performances of national dances. In addition, participants were offered tastings of Azerbaijani wines and cuisine, which represent key elements of the country’s cultural heritage.
With growing interest from CIS countries, these roadshows represented a significant opportunity to strengthen Azerbaijan’s tourism ties and showcase its vibrant offerings to key markets across the region.
