Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) took part in an important conference on tourism development, organized jointly by the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus and the Tourism Department of the National Tourism Agency.
During the plenary session, Azerbaijan’s promotional activities in international markets were highlighted, alongside a destination presentation and the growing interest of travelers from Belarus in visiting Azerbaijan.
In 2024 alone, more than 26,000 Belarusian visitors traveled to Azerbaijan, and this number continues to rise.
This year in August, Azerbaijan hosted a series of B2B meetings in Minsk as part of this event series, connecting tourism professionals for potential cooperation.
Azerbaijan remains a year-round destination for travelers from Belarus. In recent years, interest has grown in wellness tourism, cultural routes, and winter tourism, including ski resorts, reflecting the country’s expanding appeal in these segments.
