On 27 November, a meeting was held with representatives of accommodation providers as part of the preparation and coordination efforts for the Thirteenth Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku on 17–22 May 2026.
During the meeting, representatives of the WUF13 Azerbaijan Operations Company and Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) highlighted the overall approach and standards related to the organization of the international forum, including guest accommodation, service requirements, logistics, and the importance of engaging accommodation providers in a unified coordination framework.
The meeting, attended by representatives of more than 100 accommodation providers from Baku, Sumgayit, and Absheron, featured briefings on event preparations and an interactive exchange with industry representatives.
The Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) is the premier global conference on urbanization convened every two years by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).
