Azerbaijan’s tourism opportunities presented in Serbia

Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) participated in 47th International Tourism Fair held in Belgrade, Serbia from February 19 to 22, 2026.

“Experience Azerbaijan” stand was represented together with Absheron Hotel Group, presenting the country’s tourism potential in Serbia.

As part of the B2B and B2C meetings held during the exhibition, Azerbaijan’s diverse tourism offerings, including culture and heritage, winter tourism, and city break experiences were showcased.

On the first day of the exhibition, Kamil Khasiyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Serbia, visited the national stand.

During the exhibition, meetings were held with the Association of the Tourism Industry of Serbia (ATIS) and the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia (NTOS), where the parties discussed opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector between the two countries.

Serbia’s national carrier Air Serbia will begin operating direct flights between Belgrade and Baku on May 3, 2026.
