The number of Pakistani arrivals to Azerbaijan increased steadily from 46,586 in 2019 to 80,924 in 2024, marking a remarkable 74% growth over the five-year period.
Comparing 2023 to 2024, the number of arrivals increased significantly from 55,161 to 80,924, reflecting a substantial 47% growth year-over-year.

79% of Pakistani visitors to Azerbaijan travel for leisure and entertainment purposes, while 17% for business reasons, 2% visiting friends and relatives and 1% as a transit visitor in 2024.
The average Pakistani tourist spends 1,788AZN in Azerbaijan, with 48% of their budget allocated to transport, followed by accommodation (17%), sports and entertainment (11%), purchasing gifts and souvenirs (3%) and food (1%) in 2024.
In 2024, 45% of Pakistani stayed in Azerbaijan for 1-3 nights, 33% stayed for 4-7 nights, and 14% stayed for 8-14 nights.
The most visited regions by Pakistanis in Azerbaijan are Gusar, Guba, Gabala and Ismayilli.
Pakistani tourists have a strong preference for religious and spiritual heritage sites (Ashabi Kahf Cave, Juma Mosque, Heydar Mosque, Ateshgah, Fire Mountains, Maiden Tower), gastronomy (local halal and Pakistani in Azerbaijan) and shopping (malls, local bazaars, souvenir shops).

Group Travelers: usually over 30 years of age who prefer to travel with a group of like-minded individuals; prefer Pakistani food on tours including halal food; do not mind traveling long distances on coach buses and flights.
Corporate market: around 3-4 days; from 10 to 500 guests; visa facilitation, airline connectivity and conferencing facilities play an important role in choosing a destination.
